This exhibit includes thirteen of the Bertha Series paintings, the largest showing to date. It is so nice to see them all hanging together!

Thank you, Norlynne Coar, for taking these photos so I could see how it looked. I was out of town for the entire two weeks of the exhibit.

San Jacinto from Desert Hot Springs acrylic on paper, 98" x 36"             This piece is diplayed in the gallery window

Two more paintings are in the main gallery. I'm really happy that these two are showing together, as they've always seemed to belong together from the time they were painted.

What a fun opening it was! The show was very beachy and easy on the eye. The artists that were represented live all up and down the California coast. It was fun to meet new artists and see their work.

location photo

This is White Point Park in San Pedro, California. It has some interesting tidepools, and was the site of a beach resort back in the 1950s, so there are old footings and such. We chose this spot, however, because you can drive down and park right by the water. My painting set up is not good for hiking!
